Junior Development Squad
The All-Round Cricket Education for 6-11 Year Olds
Overview
Junior Development Squads (JDS) provide young and enthusiastic beginners with the skills and knowledge to become hardball-ready cricketers. These skills and the confidence for players to use them are cultivated during a 5 year holistic coaching programme, using skill set drills, small sided games, video feedback and matchplay. The programmes values and the promotion of key life skills (including respect, discipline, commitment, patience, perseverance, confidence, listening and an instilled work ethic, combined with the principles of the Long Term Athlete Development Mode (LTAD,) ensures that your child will grow not only as a cricketer but also as a young person too.
The programme devised at each level will focus on creating the right environment to learn and develop the skills of cricket. It can also be used to compliment One to One sessions.
Each session is 55 minutes and the programme runs over the course of the three terms:
Term 1: September – December

Term 3: April – July
(excludes half term)
The three levels cater for ages 6-11. For further details on the JDS pathway read below and if you wish to book a space or require any further information then fill in the contact form alongside or simply give us a call.
