In 2018 HECC hosted the inaugural year of the National Fast Bowling Academy (NFBA) which is lead by Ian Pont and was visited by ECB managing Director Ashley Giles who later Tweeted “Great to visit @HECCSport today and see the great work being done supporting our young cricketers.  Well done and thanks for looking after me”.  Heading into its 2nd year (2019) Luke works full time on the coaching staff.
